A full excavation was required and carried out before a new permeable suds-compliant base was installed.  This included a geotextile none woven membrane, type 3 reduced fines limestone sub base and open textured tarmac base.

Our client was looking for a low-maintenance, permeable resin-bound driveway but with this being quite an odd shape we decided to add some character with a large block paved entrance and zoned parking area using Tobermory bracken tegula blocks we also added some feature pathways using Tobermory retro block slips also in bracken.
