The Spec
This client called the at first impressions Yorkshire ltd the resin bound specialists as they were fed up of the gravel driveway and water pooling issues.
The solution was easy a new SUDS compliant resin bound driveway.
The Project
A full excavation was required and carried out before a new permeable suds-compliant base was installed. This included a type 3 reduced fines limestone sub base and open textured tarmac base. We also added a lovely granite stone block border at the entrance and around the perimeter to add contrast against the resin-bound surface.
The driveway was finished off with our UVR stable resin binder in a blend made up from grey Spanish marble chippings called Manhattan, which won’t fade in sunlight and requires very little maintenance year-round.
This customer was really pleased with the end result which was reflected in the brilliant 5-star review which has been left for our team.
We cannot express how impressed we were with the service we received. All the team worked so hard. They turned up prompt every morning, they cleaned as they worked, all the lads showed expertise in what job they were performing.
They explained what process they were doing and what would happen next … most of all they were tidy cleaning constantly making sure all neighbours were happy whilst carrying out their work.
