The Project
A full excavation throughout this site before a new permeable suds-compliant base was installed.
This included a geotextile non-woven membrane, type 3 no fines limestone sub base and open textured tarmac base finished off with a 20mm resin-bound surface.
When built to the correct specification our resin-bound stone system is permeable, allowing water to drain through it naturally.
Making it fully compliant with SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) meaning no planning permission is required.
