What a pleasure to work on this stunning period property in Sheffield.
The first impressions Yorkshire team set to work on this 1100m driveway with A full excavation throughout the site moving over 150 tones before a new permeable suds-compliant base was installed.
This included A beautiful natural stone cobbled border at the entrance and around the perimeter of the driveway in keeping with the property we also re installed the existing iron works on shite as they were all branded and made in Sheffield what was a lovely touch and added character we also installed geotextile non-woven membrane, type 3 no fines limestone sub base and open textured tarmac base all constructed to a suds specification and finished off with 20mm resin-bound surface creating an absolute showstopper.
When built to the correct specification our resin-bound stone system is permeable, allowing water to drain through it naturally. Making it fully compliant with SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) meaning no planning permission is required perfect for a project of such scale.
