Resin-bound is a surfacing solution that results from mixing 2 part UVR resin binder and specialist dried aggregates. These two materials are mixed in a forced action mixer to create a substance that can be trowelled onto a surface and machine finished, to provide a smooth flat finish. Resin-bound systems can also be known as “stone carpets”. The seamless finish provides a surface that is attractive and decorative that is also practical and durable.

The Project
This project required a full excavation throughout the area before a new permeable suds-compliant type 3 mot and open textured tarmac base was installed with a lovely tegula block paved border at the entrance and round the paths we also added a cream marble resin border around the perimeter giving some lovely detail. Finished off with a lush new green lawn.
