Case Study – Resin Bound Driveway in Scawsby, Doncaster
Resin Bound Driveway Case Study in Scawsby, Doncaster
This customer contacted First Impressions Yorkshire LTD, looking to replace their dated-looking tarmac and to expand their driveway to add some additional parking area.
Resin Bound Stone Benefits
One of the great features of our resin-bound stone is that it is permeable, allowing water to flow through it naturally. Making it compliant with SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) eliminates the need for planning permission.
Resin-bound stone is also a solid and long-lasting surface. It’s durable enough to support the weight of cars on driveways, walkways, and patios. It’s a low-maintenance solution that will endure for many years once it’s laid.
Our resin-bound stone is also a green alternative. Our stones are all reused from prior projects or quarry waste. There’s also a smaller carbon footprint because our method doesn’t need any cement.
So if you’re looking for a beautiful and environmentally friendly driveway, the resin-bound stone from First Impressions could be the perfect choice for you.
The Project
A full excavation was required and carried out before a new permeable suds compliant tarmac base was installed with a lovely block brick border to add contrast.
The driveway was finished off with our UVR stable resin binder in a springtime clour, which won’t fade in sunlight and requires very little maintenance year-round.
This customer was really please with the end result which was reflected in the brilliant 5-star review which has been left for our team.
